Fashion tips every woman needs

1. Invest in a bra that really fits.

“Get a bra that’s perfect for you. I’ve seen a number of outfits that could have been perfect if only she had worn the perfect bra.” —Submitted by Ashley Norris (via Facebook)

2. Remember size ain’t nothing but a number.

“Pay less attention to the size of something and more to the fit. I’m a small but I can buy a large in something and it’s a completely different look.” —Submitted by Alexis Maureen Larma (via Facebook)

3. Always bet on black.

“When in doubt, wear black on black.” —Genna Hannah (via Facebook)

4. Keep your closet simple.

“I only ever wear different versions of the same thing, and stick to the one colour scheme. Has made life easier, less expensive, and I always feel great.” —Submitted by Kate Walencamp (via Facebook)

5. Try this winning combination:

“V-neck sweater over a button-up. It’s easy, low-maintenance (little to no ironing), and it looks like you actually put in some effort.” —Submitted by Jeffrey Burros (via Facebook)

6. A bright scarf can make all the difference, especially in the winter.

“Cute scarves make it look like I’m at least trying.” —Submitted by Jennifer Nelson (via Facebook)

7. Here’s another surefire recipe for cuteness this winter:

“Try skater skirts with bright tights and top it off with a cute sweater. It looks comfy, it’s warm, and best part: It looks cute.” —Submitted by Lupe Antonio (via Facebook)

8. Follow this tip for longer-looking legs:

“For instant longer-looking legs: shoes in the same color as your trousers.” —Submitted by Lotte Cleffken (via Facebook)

9. Experiment with lip color.

“A bold lip changes the entire feel of an outfit.” —Submitted by Taylor Miles (via Facebook)

10. Find a good tailor.

“A nip here and a tuck there makes a world of difference.” —Submitted by Meaghan Allen-Harris (via Facebook)

11. It’s all about the layers.

“Layer your shirts, blouses, tops, etc! An outfit can go from blah to amazing by just adding a simple cardigan, jacket, or plaid shirt!!” —Submitted by Shayla Bartles (via Facebook)

12. Make sure you can wear something multiple ways.

“If I can’t think of at least two places to wear it, don’t buy it.” —Submitted by Ashley Gillard (via Facebook)

13. Try a turtleneck.

“This season I literally wear one of those jumpers nearly every day!
So comfy, so classic, so chic!” —Submitted by Felix Andreas Kühnert (via Facebook)

14. Invest in some super comfy pajamas.

“Luxurious pajamas. But wear clothes that are comfortable that don’t look like pajamas or gym clothes.” —Submitted by amberlundyleigh

15. Fleece-lined leggings will change your life.

“Try fleece-lined leggings. These are almost too warm for me to wear to work.” —Submitted by Laura Hawkenson (via Facebook)

16. Try mixing patterns very subtly.

“I wear a lot of patterned sweaters with jeans and a lightly patterned-button down. It’s impossible to go wrong; as long as you have one pattern that is the main focus and another that’s barely there, you look fantastic.” —Submitted by Paige Harrington (via Facebook)

17. Try a high-waisted look.

“I’m short and chubby so I really dig the high-waist, crop top look, as long as everything fits well! Cropped sweaters and high-waist skirts are my fav right now.” —Submitted by Rachel Pharoah via Facebook

18. Say something bold with a statement necklace.

“Never underestimate the power of good accessories. Many a plain outfit has been saved by the addition of a scarf, belt, or piece of jewelry. I also recommend sticking to one focal point accessory. For example, if you’re wearing a big statement necklace, keep your earrings small or skip them altogether.” —Submitted by Christina Szirmai (via Facebook)

19. Never underestimate the power of your accessories.

“Never underestimate the power of one or two accessories on a simple outfit. For example, a cute tee with a high-waisted skirt (of moderate length) and tights with your favorite boots, pretty cute. But add a watch and a conversation-starter necklace and it instantly makes you look more polished and put together. That’s my staple outfit for work.” —Submitted by Rachel Davis (via Facebook)

20. Combat boots for the win.

“Combat boots look good with everything. Pants, skirts, leggings, tights, whatever! They also give you a bit of an edge and keep your feet warm and dry in the snow.” —Submitted by myansweris42

21. Embrace color.

“Wear colors or even just a pop of color. It’ll boost your mood!” —Submitted by madelineornnichas

22. Pay attention to the fitted/loose ratio:

“Wear a fitted top with loose bottom or fitted bottom with loose top.” —Submitted by Taylor82

23. Ruined your dress? Make it a skirt.

“If the top of my dresses are somehow ruined, I take them in to get tailored into skirts.” —Submitted by Leannmg

24. Break out the bows.

“If I need to feel cuter than I already am, I tie a bow around my head. Thrift stores often have super-cheap vintage scarves and thinner neck scarves that work perfectly.” —Submitted by isabelgracep

25. Pick out your outfit the night before.

“Pick out your outfit the night before. I cannot tell you how many times I used to not bother, then be in a rush in the morning and just put on the first thing I could find in a hurry. That way you can pick something practical, stylish and feel great, rather than rushing and feeling like a hot mess all day! Plus it gives you time to pick out your accessories — which I had a habit of running out without when I would pick it out in the morning!” —Submitted byKrissie Gonzalez

26. Hem your jeans.

“Get your jeans tailored if they’re too long, don’t just cuff ‘em up (or wear down the excess length). Sure, the cuff looks cute when you’re wearing sneakers, but it doesn’t look so good if you’re trying to wear heels or nicer shoes, and the cuffs are a bear if you’re trying to zip tall boots over them.” —Submitted by KieshaK

27. Make sure your shirt is the right length.

“If you wear skinny jeans, pair with a top that comes halfway down your butt.” —Submitted by MadisonED

28. Balance your upper and lower body.

“My style is really minimalist. The simpler, the better. I always try to have a balance between what I’m wearing in my upper and lower body. If I’m wearing some simple jeans or a simple skirt, I try to add some scarves or lots of necklaces. If I wear lots of neck accessories I avoid using big hats and lots of bracelets. And it’s the other way round: If I’m wearing some saggy jeans with a huge belt I try to keep it simple in the upper body. ” —Submitted by Valeria Bernal Malek

29. Mix florals and graphic patterns.

“Mix florals with graphics, feminine and masculine, plenty of textures. And if clothes don’t fit or you have zero confidence not even head-to-toe Dior will look good on you.”—Submitted by Monika Mag (via Facebook)

30. Belts can make everything better.

“Either a skinny belt over a top or a sash on a wool coat; having something there to define where your waist is makes you look thinner and shapelier.” —Submitted by MadisonED

31. Rock some red.

“My secret? The color red. Nothing says, “Hello world, here I am!” like a bold sweater and ruby lips to match.” —Submitted by joceylns2

32. Don’t hide your wonderful self.

“This is nothing groundbreaking, but as a perpetual plus-size it took me way too long to figure out that it wasn’t actually a good idea to try to hide behind dark colors and huge, tent-like shirts/sweaters.” —Submitted by Ruby Lucero (via Facebook)

33. Remember that it’s all in the details.

“I pay attention to detail, keep my clothes pressed, nails neat, and always throw on heels.” —Submitted by giselag4971b1008

34. Pencil skirts 4-ever.

“Pencil skirts. Lots of ‘em! And sky high heels.” —Submitted by lizaa454311122

35. Spice up your outfit with colored denim.

“Colored denim is a great way to put a fun spin on a simple outfit.” —Submitted by Nikita Satapathy (via Facebook)

36. Here’s an easy trick:

“Pick a colorful pattern and then a solid color that matches!” —Submitted byxsammy

37. Follow the rule of three.

“Never base your outfit on more than three colors. It just ends up looking like a hot mess. And make sure you don’t OVER-accessorize.” —Submitted by baileyb46768aed7

38. Get yourself some comfy, well-fitting undies.

“Unless you know someone’s gonna see it, it’s best to wear something that flatters you and creates the best shape possible. There’s nothing more unsightly than a visible panty line or quad boob, and proper underwear means you don’t have to worry about anything falling out! Also there’s not much worse than the look or the feeling of a too-small bra, and I would know, what with wearing a 34DD all my life and then finding I should have been wearing a 30H!” —Submitted by jessicarosehailes

39. Invest in a clothing steamer.

“Steamers don’t take nearly as long as ironing and it’s so much easier. It completely changed what kind of clothes I bought. ‘Will this wrinkle? Doesn’t matter now!’” —Submitted by sarahkaitlinp

40. Hats, hats, hats.

“Hats: They protect you from the elements, there’s a style for every outfit, and they’re an awesome way to style your head when you don’t have the time or inclination to subdue your hair.” —Submitted by hannahp4aad0cff9

41. Go ahead, get weird.

“If you feel like wearing weird things, just wear them. The more you do so the more people get used to it, and eventually they think it’s strange if you show up in jeans and a T-shirt.” —Submitted by Casey Romano (via Facebook)

42. Keep it simple.

“If it’s something you won’t want to have to re-do every time you go to the bathroom or bend over or sit down, you may want to rethink the outfit decision.” —Submitted by zoeriyama

43. And classic.

“Classic pieces of clothes will always beat trend pieces. Save money, your style will be timeless! Classics are classics for a reason, e.g. classic white shirt, black ballet pumps. They’ll never let you down!” —Submitted by amyjos

44. Remember: The world is your runway.

“I basically treat the world as my runway; I wear what I want and what I think looks good on me and don’t give a damn about what anyone else thinks.” —Submitted by Rachel Schiff (via Facebook)

45. And confidence is your most important accessory.

“Regardless of what you wear, sport a good attitude and you will always look good. A skater skirt? Hoodie? Tights with a ladder running up your whole leg? Team them with a bit of confidence and you’ll look like a badass!” —Submitted by mahimalemurllamak

You can never mistake wearing white

MAKE YOUR WHITE SKIRT A FULL SKIRT

Brighten your spring wardrobe with pieces of white: the color dominated spring runways, and celebrities were quick to embrace updated ways to rock the timeless hue. To start, put away your pencil skirts in favor of one that's full and white. Pair it with a skinny neutral belt and loose tank blouse, as seen on the Bottega Veneta runway, or try a lightweight skirt like Diane Kruger.

LAYER IT ON

White looks just as good as a single item as it does on an entire outfit, as shown here on Leighton Meester. On the runway, Alexander Wang layered white upon white upon white and finished the look with white hair accessories, a white purse and white shoes. Think it's too much? Not this spring.

KEEP IT MINIMAL FOR EVENING

Long white dresses aren't just for bridal gowns anymore. The elegant look is streamlined and stripped of extras in favor of sleek silhouettes with long sleeves. Gwyneth Paltrow mastered the chic, minimal look in an Emilio Pucci gown and Derek Lam showed off his version on his spring runway.

SHOW OFF SHEER

Spring offers a way to wear sheer for all styles. For a full-out sheer look, D&G showed off a whimsical see-through dress, layered over a bra top and bloomer shorts on the spring runway. Meanwhile, Natalie Portman tried a more attainable approach, with sheer sleeves on her white frock.

WEAR IT TAILORED

Precisely tailored white jackets and pants appeared on the runways, as shown here at Stella McCartney. Wear tailored white top-to-bottom, like Heidi Klum (in Ann Taylor), or mix and match your separates to vary your outfit options.

TRENCHCOATS MOVE BEYOND KHAKI

Sure, a good khaki trenchcoat is a wardrobe staple. But this season, try the same cut you love in white instead. Michael Kors designed a great belted version with a wide lapel and celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe was recently spotted in her own white trench, which she cinched with a wide black belt.

ADD SOME SHINE WITH METALLICS

Turn a casual outfit into something party-worthy with shades of metallic, especially silver. Balmain showed off a tailored white blazer and camisole with fitted silver pants, and Glee star Lea Michele tucked a white blouse into a silver and white printed skirt by Jenni Kayne.

Convertible dress

This is called a convertible dress. You know why? cause you can wear it in so many ways you can't even imagine. You can find an affordable once on ebay, I got a red one myself and it is just gorgeous

Trust me when I tell you wear more hats lady

Yes it is not the 60s, but hat will always be a piece of amazing fashion. SO ladies do not hesitate to try wearing them, you will be surprised of how beautiful it is.

Why We Wear Hats

Humans have covered their heads since time immemorial.  Initially headwear offered protection from the elements and from injury from falling rocks, weapons or masonry.  Later head coverings became symbols of status of authority.  Soon after hats progressed to become not only a uniform, but also an art form.
In fashion terms, hats are a very noticeable accessory because the onlooker’s attention is first drawn to the face. A hat is the most noticeable fashion item anyone can wear.  The old saying goes 'if you want to get ahead and get noticed, then get a hat'.  Indeed the word 'ahead' means just that one head further forward.
Since some body heat is lost through the head, in inclement conditions it is important to cover the head. Babies in particular lose heat rapidly through the head, thus ensuring a baby or toddler has a warm covered head in winter is important.

Choosing a necklace for your outfit

Ok ladies, here are some ideas on how to wear different kinds of necklaces depending on how your top looks like.

But am telling you don't stick to this and always try something new, you can find out a lot

by Kori EllisAccessories can make or break your look. When choosing fashion accessories to match your outfit, consider the color, scale and style of the pieces, and keep the occasion in mind.

1Color

When you're wearing black, white or other neutrals, accessories in any color look stylish and coordinated. If you're wearing a colorful outfit, though, make sure your fashion accessories don't clash.
It all goes back to the basics of the color wheel. Primary colors, of course, are red, blue and yellow. Secondary colors are those that result from mixing two primary colors (i.e., red plus yellow equals orange).
Primary and secondary colors that are side by side on the wheel are analogous to each other. They work very well together when they are matched on the same level of lightness or darkness.
If you want to make a big fashion statement, choose primary and secondary colors that are opposite of each other on the wheel. Pairing these colors is bold and adventurous, and some shades don't look as good together as others. Avoid partnering red with green, though, unless it's the holiday season. Experiment to find which colors work best for you. In general, don't use more than three colors in your whole ensemble.

2Scale

The scale of your fashion accessories is important, too. When you're wearing patterns, simple accessories are the best option. Accessories and jewelry that are too busy will make prints look tacky. The same goes for ruffled, sequined, embroidered or otherwise embellished garments: Wear understated accessories to keep the emphasis on your outfit.
The scale and shape of your handbag is also important. Consider your body type in addition to what you are wearing. Tall, thin women look best with short, slouchy bags such as hobos and clutches. Petite women should avoid oversized satchels; these bags overwhelm their small frames. Short ladies should also steer clear of handbags with long straps. Plus-size and hourglass-shaped women look fabulous with medium-sized structured or boxy handbags to balance out their curves.

3Style

Fashion accessories can define your style. A white shirt and jeans or simple black dress can look completely different depending on your choice of handbag, shoes, jewelry and other accessories. Here are some common accessories to consider, depending on your personal style:
  • Classic accessories -- pearl- or diamond-stud earrings, silk scarf, leather clutch and classic black pumps
  • Glamorous accessories -- chandelier earrings, bib necklace, large cocktail ring, crystal-embellished clutch, oversized sunglasses and sky-high heels
  • Playful accessories -- chunky jewelry, hobo bag, headbands, skinny belt and colorful ballet flats
  • Edgy accessories -- thick cuff bracelet, choker necklace, studded handbag and black leather booties
  • Workday accessories -- delicate necklace, classic watch, large satchel or shoulder bag and kitten heels
  • Casual accessories -- candy-colored bracelet or watch, Wayfarer sunglasses, crossbody bag, floppy hats and knee-high boots or espadrille sandals
Accessories can take any outfit from drab to fab. They can also help extend your wardrobe because you can achieve multiple looks from one basic dress just by changing your accessories. To look your best, put as much effort into selecting your fashion accessories as you do the main components of your ensemble.

Can I wear my shirt as a dress? the answer is YES

Can I wear my shirt as a dress? the answer is YES

Isn’t it great to think that every one of his tees and shirts is a potentially new dress waiting to be work by you? And if your man is anything like most of them, they will have shirts and tees of all sorts of different designs and colors.

Summer pads

Trust me when I tell you those are a life savor at summer. They are called Disposable Underarm Sweat Pads and you can find them on ebay. Give them a try, you won't regret it

These pads are known by a variety of names -- underarm shields, garment guards and dress shields -- and they're designed to protect clothing from armpit sweat, reducing wet marks and staining on clothing. While the pads don't treat excessive sweating, they do help with managing excessive sweat on a daily basis, especially for those with mild symptoms or patients who have just begun another hyperhidrosis treatment option and are waiting for results.
Underarm sweat pads are typically made of 100 percent cotton, an absorbent and breathable material, and come in both disposable and reusable, washable types. Some brands also include a sweat-repelling vinyl layer along with the absorbent cotton to provide extra protection for your clothes. Most types of pads stay in place with a self-adhesive backing -- just peel off the paper backing and stick the pad inside your shirt's armhole. Some sweat pads have elastic arm straps that attach to your body rather than to your clothing. Pads come in a few colors -- nude, black and white -- and you can purchase them online or in the health and beauty section of retail stores. Used daily, they can help hide embarrassing sweat stains on clothing.

This is a brilliant way to add a light layer on a chilly day without spending a dime or even pulling out a needle and thread. It’s genius I tell you… anyone can do it! Go try it now!
